About me
I’ve been training dogs for over 50 years. My dog training journey began with my first dog, Shayna. She was a German Shepard. I had her in my bachelor days. Then there was Coco, a beautiful, black lab my wife and I got for our kids. I had a lot of fun training Coco. She won awards in our town for obedience. In that time, I also helped other families train their dogs on the side.
And now of course, there’s the love of my life (other than my wife!), Roscoe. Roscoe is a black lab/ pitbull mix, my best friend, and I love him. I adopted him as a small, hyper, energetic, anxious pup in 2016. Today, he’s a therapy dog accredited by the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. He’s very well-behaved, attentive, loving, and does fun tricks for people when I ask him to. Pre-pandemic, I enjoyed taking him to nursing homes to bring a smile to peoples faces.
If I’m not training other dogs, spending time with my family, friends, or Roscoe at the dog park, you’ll find me golfing, catching up on my favorite shows, or enjoying a Johnny Walker black and soda with two lemon twists in a tall glass.
